CHEGAGA DUNES OASIS
The Chegaga dunes are one of the largest Moroccan Sahara ergs that are located approximately 50 kilometers west of M’Hamid El Ghizlane in the Souss-Massa-Draa region.
We invite you in this lovely oasis to a lovely camel trek to take a look at the fantastic landscapesand enjoy the viewof the desert. you will spend unforgettable moments with us in a journey between the dunes Bougarnes and Ch’gaga tamarisk.
DESCRIPTIONS
The Chegaga dunes are one of the largest Moroccan Sahara ergs that are located approximately 50 kilometers west of M’Hamid El Ghizlane in the Souss-Massa-Draa region.
We invite you in this lovely oasis to a lovely camel trek to take a look at the fantastic landscapesand enjoy the viewof the desert. you will spend unforgettable moments with us in a journey between the dunes Bougarnes and Ch’gaga tamarisk
Program:
Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech and transfer to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 2: Early in morning we will cross the Atlas through the Tichka Pass and Ouarzazate and then we will go through the palm of Draa, Agdaz, Zagoura Tagounite and to get finally to the palm of Oulad Driss where we will spend the night in the beautiful setting of the Berber tents.
Day 3: After several hours of walking,our camel team will be with you for a beautiful hike to Wad Naam and spend the night in a bivouac.
Day 4: Our unique experience does not stop at Wad Naam, after leaving these beautiful desert dunes,we will visit the oasis of ouedLaatach (the thirst valley) through the Jbel Bani and ERG Bougarn dunes to the bivouac.
Day 5: Enjoying breathtaking views of the mountain and the big dunes Ch’gaga,,then getting back to the bivouac.
Day 6: we will spend one night in the sea of golden sand in the desert.
Day 7: We cross the village of Sidi Zaouit Abdennabi on 4×4, once you arrive at the large dry lake Iriki, you will enjoy the Hollywood decor of the place, then we head to Marrakech taking the road to Foum Zguite to have a rest at the hotel.
Day 8: Transfer to the airport
Recommended period: October and the end of April
NB: The departures are scheduled every week on Sunday or Monday or when the group is complete.
